Update : 13 January 2014
It’s a well-known truism that children often have to suffer the follies of their parents and it becomes even more apparent when you’re the child of a famous parent. It was so with Chelsea Clinton too; the daughter of two high profile brilliant personalities, ex-US President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. It is to their credit that Chelsea grew up with a well-balanced personality despite the focused media attention on her family. Though the extent of damage to Chelsea’s personal life as a result of her dad’s peccadilloes, remains to be seen.
The same media has been now publishing persistent pieces of information for the past few years about Chelsea’s almost imminent divorce from her husband, Mark Mezvinsky, despite her vehement denials. The couple is even giving interviews about having a baby together. But, can there be smoke without fire?
Chelsea met her investment banker husband when they were in school together at the exclusive Sidwell Friends School and were together in Stanford University, too. The couple started dating each other in 2005. They wed after five years in an exclusive and expensive marriage ceremony.
The busy couple recently bought an upmarket 4,967-square-foot four bedroom Condo. This just might stop all those persistent rumor mongers, forever!
Chelsea has shown considerable consistency in her previous relationships. Her first major relationship was Mathew Pierce, a 20 year old senior religious-studies major and swimming champ. Chelsea met him almost on her first day as a campus resident. They were seen publicly, but the relationship ended as a result of the tragic fallout of the sordid Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky affair.

Chelsea’s second serious relationship was again with a fellow Stanford student, Jeremy Kane with whom she shared a passion for Politics. Jeremy even interned at the White House.
Chelsea Clinton is known to have dated Rhodes scholar, Ian Klaus when she was at Oxford. They met in 2002 and were together for almost four years before calling it a day. Ian’s work in Iraq and Afghanistan and their separation of time and distance can be said to be the reason behind their slowly growing apart.
